After finishing her New Media design B.A, Katrin Krumm has worked as a freelance communication designer and lecturer. Currently, she is working at Galerie Sfeir-Semler as gallery assistant.
Together with Immanuel Calvin Herchenbach, she has designed and realized various graphic identities, clients include: Christine Jaksch, elinor, Krumm-tec and Annerose Weis. She collaborated with various designers, artists and collectives such as Air Waves, Simon Braun, Drama Club, halalboy, Alessa Joosten, Svenja Kirsch, Mia Morgan, Karolin Stächele, Reach Another System, Scilla, Stephan Thiel, URTE, Vapor Club and Weltgast.
She helped plan and execute various interdisciplinary events, festivals and exhibitions such as New Old Black Forest and UFER 2.0. For this, she worked with the following institutions: Kunsthalle Basel, E-Werk Freiburg, Südufer and Artik. During her semester abroad, she assisted Studio BASTER in implementing the Corporate Identity for UNFAIR Amsterdam and PITCH Festival.
As a lecturer at Macromedia Campus Freiburg, she led the pre-studies course under the supervision of Prof. Karin Jobst and held the following lectures and workshops: Digital Fine Arts, Digital Meditation, 3D Photo Concept, Digitale Ethik and Design und das „dritte Geschlecht". She focused on design ethics, web accessibility, network policy, equal opportunities, content moderation and censorship.

She currently operates as part of 80106 (website coming soon), the first autonomous co-working space in Freiburg for women*, founded together with Sophie Friedel, Karin Jehle, Yasemin aus dem Kahmen, Sévérine Kpoti, Marina Lehmann, Anja Tintenmonster and Lina Saleem in the premises of Kleiderei Freiburg. Furthermore, she is a member of the Freiburg-based Festival crew RapFatale.
